Rapidsheetfab is a custom sheet metal fabrication manufacturer founded in 2015 in Dongguan, China, supporting industrial OEMs with outdoor weatherproof enclosures—from one-piece prototypes and NPI builds to low-volume repeat production. Manufacturing Capabilities (In-House)
Our 3,500 m² facility is set up for multi-process sheet metal fabrication.
Cutting & Forming
- Fiber laser cutting (5 units) up to 2000 × 4000 mm
- CNC press brakes (7 units) up to 230T / 3000 mm
- CNC punching for precision holes, louvers, and formed features
Joining & Assembly
- TIG, MIG/MAG, laser welding, spot welding
- PEM hardware insertion, riveting, M2–M12 tapping
- Deburring, grinding, brushing, basic polishing, and assembly
Material Thickness & Capacity
- Typical sheet thickness range: 0.5–12 mm
- Laser cutting capacity: stainless up to 20 mm, carbon steel up to 25 mm, aluminum up to 16 mm
Weather-Ready Materials
We commonly manufacture outdoor enclosure components in:
- Stainless steel: SUS304, SUS316, SUS430
- Steel: SPCC/CRS, Q235/Q355, SGCC/SECC
- Aluminum: 5052, 6061, 5754
- Copper C1100/T2 and brass H62 (for specific conductive/connector parts)
We can help review material choice based on environment (coastal exposure, chemical exposure, cosmetics, weight targets, and cost).
Tolerances & Fit (Drawing-Dependent)
We support typical sheet metal tolerances such as:
- Laser cutting±0.10 mm
- Bending±0.20–0.30 mm
- Holes±0.10–0.20 mm
For weatherproof enclosures, consistent door fit, panel alignment, and hardware location matter—so we encourage you to define critical features (sealing surfaces, gasket grooves, hinge alignment, latch points, flatness requirements) in the drawing, and we will confirm manufacturability during DFM review.
