Custom Sheet Metal Fabrication
Precision CNC Punching Services for Industrial OEMs
At Rapidsheetfab, we provide high-precision CNC punching services as a core part of our comprehensive custom sheet metal fabrication capabilities. Operating from our 3,500 m² facility in Dongguan, China, we support industrial OEMs, automation companies, and equipment manufacturers with reliable, export-ready manufacturing—from one-piece prototypes to low-volume and repeat production.
While laser cutting is ideal for complex profiles, CNC punching is the superior, cost-effective choice for sheet metal parts requiring high-volume hole patterns, ventilation louvers, dimples, countersinks, and other formed features.
Our CNC Punching Capabilities
Our advanced CNC punching equipment is fully integrated into our one-stop fabrication process, allowing us to produce complex geometries with high repeatability.
Formed Features
We specialize in punching louvers for ventilation, knockouts, dimples, countersinks, and extruded holes.
Precision Tolerances
Typical drawing-dependent tolerances for punched holes range from ±0.10 mm to ±0.20 mm.
Integrated Multi-Process Fabrication
CNC punching is rarely a standalone process. We seamlessly combine punching with our in-house laser cutting, CNC press brake bending (up to 230T / 3000 mm), and welding (TIG, MIG/MAG, Spot, Laser) to deliver complete assemblies.
Hardware Insertion
Post-punching, we offer in-house PEM hardware insertion, riveting, and M2–M12 tapping.
Materials Suited for CNC Punching
We stock and process a wide variety of high-quality metals suitable for CNC punching, typically ranging from 0.5 mm to 12 mm in thickness:

The Rapidsheetfab Advantage: Why Partner With Us?
We understand the pain points of procurement, NPI, and engineering teams. We are not a commodity cutting shop; we are an engineering-responsive manufacturing partner.
Prototype to Production Continuity
We support an MOQ of 1 piece. Transition smoothly from NPI builds (3–12 working days) to low-volume batches (10–15 days) and regular production (15–25 days) with the same trusted supplier.
Proactive DFM Feedback
We provide fast, clear engineering reviews and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback to ensure your punched parts are optimized for cost and quality.
One-Stop Shop (Including Finishing)
Stop managing multiple suppliers for a single assembly. We handle the punching, bending, hardware, and assembly in-house. Surface finishes (powder coating, anodizing, plating, passivation, etc.) are managed seamlessly through our qualified finishing partners.
Export-Ready Communication
With over 55% of our sales exported to the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia, our team provides highly responsive, clear English communication. No more slow or unclear RFQ responses.
Uncompromising Quality & Documentation
Inconsistent dimensional or cosmetic quality is a major risk for OEMs. Rapidsheetfab mitigates this risk through our ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system.
Our quality flow (IQC, FAI, IPQC, FQC, OQC) utilizes advanced inspection resources, including CMMs, 2.5D vision systems, and height gauges. To support your supplier quality requirements, we provide comprehensive documentation upon request:
- First Article Inspection (FAI) reports
- Full dimensional reports
- Material certificates
- RoHS/REACH compliance documents
- Coating and finishing reports
