Telecom & Data Infrastructure Sheet Metal Fabrication Services
Rapidsheetfab is a custom sheet metal fabrication manufacturer in Dongguan, China (ISO 9001:2015). We support telecom and data infrastructure OEMs with engineering-responsive fabrication—from one-piece prototypes and NPI builds to low-volume repeat production and regular supply.
If you're building network, edge, or data-center hardware and need reliable sheet metal parts with clear documentation and export-ready communication, we're set up to help.
What We Make for Telecom & Data Infrastructure
Typical fabricated components we produce include:
Enclosures & Chassis
Equipment enclosures and chassis for network/edge devices, power and control boxes.
Rack-Mount Panels
Rack-mount panels and front/rear faceplates with precise hole patterns.
Cable Management
Brackets, guides, covers, and strain relief features for organized cabling.
Mounting Brackets & Frames
Mounting brackets, stiffeners, corner plates, and support frames for structural integrity.
EMI/EMC Metalwork
Bonding points, gasket land areas, and shielding covers per drawing specifications.
Welded Assemblies
Welded assemblies with threaded inserts, studs, and PEM hardware installed. Service panels, access doors, louvered covers, and ventilation features.
Manufacturing Capabilities (In-House)
Our 3,500 m² facility supports multi-process builds.
Cutting & Forming
- •Fiber laser cutting (5 units), sheet capacity up to 2000 × 4000 mm
- •CNC press brakes (7 units), up to 230T / 3000 mm
- •CNC punching for precision holes, louvers, and formed features
Joining & Hardware
- •TIG / MIG(MAG) / laser / spot welding
- •PEM hardware insertion, riveting, and M2–M12 tapping
- •Deburring, grinding, brushing, basic polishing, and assembly
Materials & Tolerances
Materials Common in Telecom Projects
- •Stainless steel: SUS304, SUS316, SUS430
- •Steel: SPCC/CRS, Q235/Q355, SGCC/SECC
- •Aluminum: 5052, 6061, 5754
- •Copper C1100/T2 and brass H62
Typical sheet range: 0.5–12 mm. Laser cutting capacity: SS up to 20 mm, CS up to 25 mm, Al up to 16 mm.
Tolerances & Process Capability
We communicate capabilities clearly during engineering review:
- •Laser cutting: ±0.10 mm
- •Bending: ±0.20–0.30 mm
- •Holes: ±0.10–0.20 mm
For telecom hardware where alignment, cosmetics, and assembly fit are critical, we recommend sending a 3D model (STEP/SolidWorks) plus 2D drawings with GD&T and critical-to-quality notes.
Surface Finishing Options
We coordinate finishing through qualified partner factories:
Coating reports available upon request. Include cosmetic standard photos or notes in the RFQ for appearance control.
Quality Control & Documentation (Export-Ready)
Our quality flow includes IQC, FAI, IPQC, FQC, and OQC. Inspection resources include CMM, 2.5D vision systems, height gauges, and standard tools.
Documentation Available
- •First Article Inspection (FAI)
- •Dimensional inspection reports
- •Material certificates
- •RoHS / REACH documents (when required)
- •Coating/finishing reports
This helps telecom and data infrastructure teams reduce supplier risk and speed up qualification.
Prototype-to-Production Support
Many telecom programs start with rapid prototypes and evolve into stable repeat builds. We are structured to support that path.
Lead time: 3–12 working days (process-dependent)
Direct overseas service since 2019, with ~55% export sales to markets including the US, Canada, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, Sweden, Australia, and Singapore.
