Sheet Metal Fabrication for Industrial OEMs
Custom Vehicle Mounting Brackets
Rapidsheetfab fabricates vehicle mounting brackets from sheet metal for OEM equipment and vehicle platforms. We handle the full sequence from single-piece prototypes through repeat production quantities using in-house laser cutting, press braking, punching, welding, and hardware insertion.

Material Options for Mounting Brackets
Vehicle mounting brackets commonly use stainless steel grades SUS304 and SUS316 for corrosion resistance, or carbon steel grades SPCC and Q235 for structural applications. Aluminum 5052 and 6061 appear in weight-sensitive assemblies. We process material from 0.5 mm to 12 mm thick, with laser cutting reaching 25 mm on carbon steel and 20 mm on stainless.

Laser Cutting and CNC Forming
Five fiber laser cutters handle sheets up to 2000 × 4000 mm, covering bracket blanks with mounting holes, slots, and contours in one operation. Seven CNC press brakes provide bending up to 230 tons over 3000 mm lengths, allowing multiple bends on larger bracket geometries without secondary setups. CNC punching adds formed features such as louvers or embosses where required.

Welding and Mechanical Fastening
Brackets that form part of larger assemblies often require welding. We perform TIG, MIG/MAG, laser, and spot welding in-house. PEM hardware insertion, riveting, and tapping from M2 to M12 are completed on the same production line. These operations support brackets that mount directly to vehicle frames or chassis points.

Every order receives IQC, FAI, IPQC, FQC, and OQC stages. CMM and 2.5D vision systems verify critical dimensions before parts leave the facility. First-article inspection reports and material certificates ship with each batch.
Surface Preparation and Coating
Parts receive deburring, grinding, and brushing before finishing. Powder coating, anodizing, plating, passivation, and electropolishing are completed through qualified partners. We do not perform these processes internally but coordinate them to match bracket drawings and corrosion requirements.
Prototype to Production Continuity
The same equipment and process documentation used for prototypes remain available for subsequent orders, eliminating the need to requalify a new supplier.
