Rapidsheetfab / Custom fabrication
Custom sheet metal fabrication for industrial OEMs
We fabricate enclosures, brackets, chassis, panels, and welded assemblies for overseas buyers and engineers who need clear DFM feedback, drawing-based tolerances, and a reliable path from prototype to repeat production—without splitting one assembly across multiple shops.
For a practical quote, send PDF/DXF/STEP drawings, material, quantity, finish, critical dimensions, and target delivery. Email RFQ only—no phone path required.

Integrated fabrication
Laser, bend, weld, and hardware under one roof
We help you reduce multi-supplier handoffs. Our team reviews flat patterns, bend radii, fastener clearance, and weld access before cutting so critical interfaces stay manufacturable. A typical OEM enclosure or chassis moves through cutting or punching, CNC bending, PEM/tapping, optional welding, in-house prep, and partner finishing under one project owner.
Forming & precision
Cut, punch, and form
Fiber laser cutting to 2000 × 4000 mm, CNC punching for holes and louvers, and press-brake forming to 230T / 3000 mm for enclosures, brackets, and chassis. Typical laser capacity: stainless to 20 mm, carbon steel to 25 mm, aluminum to 16 mm.
Joining & hardware
Welded and assembled parts
TIG, MIG/MAG, laser, and spot welding, plus PEM insertion, riveting, M2–M12 tapping, and assembly for production-ready fitment. Call out grind zones and distortion-sensitive faces on the drawing.
Finishing & delivery
In-house prep, partner finishes
Deburring, grinding, brushing, and basic polishing are handled in-house. Powder coating, anodizing, plating, passivation, and marking are coordinated through qualified finishing partners—scoped clearly on every quote.
Materials & capability
Process limits you can plan around
Typical sheet thickness is 0.5–12 mm. We confirm drawing-dependent tolerances, bend sequences, and cosmetic zones during quotation so RFQ assumptions stay realistic. If your design mixes thick structural panels with thin covers, we split process notes by thickness rather than forcing one tolerance story onto every feature.
Stainless steel
SUS304, SUS316, and SUS430 for corrosion- and hygiene-sensitive equipment
Steel
SPCC/CRS, Q235/Q355, and SGCC/SECC for structural and enclosure work
Aluminum, copper & brass
Aluminum 5052, 6061, and 5754; copper C1100/T2; brass H62
Drawing-dependent process ranges
- Laser cutting capacity
- SS to 20 mm; carbon steel to 25 mm; aluminum to 16 mm
- Typical laser tolerance
- ±0.10 mm
- Typical bending tolerance
- ±0.20–0.30 mm
- Typical hole tolerance
- ±0.10–0.20 mm
Actual capability depends on material, geometry, and drawing requirements. Call out GD&T and cosmetic faces early so we can confirm process capability.
Engineering before nesting
DFM tips that keep OEM parts manufacturable
Most rework we see on inbound drawings is preventable: holes too close to bends, flanges shorter than tooling allows, hardware colliding with bend reliefs, or finish sequences that trap inserts under coating. Our engineers raise these issues in the RFQ response—not after steel is cut.
Geometry & forming
- Plan inside bend radius ≥ material thickness unless we confirm tighter tooling for your alloy
- Keep holes and slots clear of bend lines to avoid ovalizing
- Mark grain direction and cosmetic faces on brushed or coated parts
- Leave weld and clamp access on box corners and framed assemblies
Hardware, finish & docs
- Specify PEM type, grip range, and keep-outs; note install before/after coating
- Define paint-free grounding pads and masking on the PDF
- State FAI, CoC, material cert, or coating-report needs on the PO/RFQ
- Share quantity by phase (proto / NPI / production) for realistic lead time
Quality you can document
Inspection flow from incoming material to shipment
Our ISO 9001:2015 quality system supports IQC, FAI, IPQC, FQC, and OQC. We use CMM, 2.5D vision, height gauges, and standard metrology tools when your drawing or PO requires documented checks.
Available documentation includes first-article inspection, dimensional reports, material certificates, RoHS/REACH statements, and coating reports from finishing partners when applicable. We do not invent industry certifications we do not hold—if your program needs a specific standard beyond ISO 9001:2015, tell us so we can confirm scope honestly.
Prototype
3–12 working days
Typical, depending on process stack and finish.
Small batches
10–15 days
Typical for low-volume and NPI follow-on.
Regular production
15–25 days
Confirm against scope, finish queue, and schedule.
Export service
Since 2019
Direct overseas support for industrial customers.
Built for industrial OEMs
Parts that protect and structure your equipment
We focus on drawing-based industrial parts—not commodity retail metalwork. Best-fit programs start with a prototype or NPI build and continue into repeat production.
Components & assemblies
Enclosures, cabinets, chassis, panels, brackets, frames, bases, covers, ducts, trays, and welded assemblies.
Industries served
Automation and robotics, electronics and instruments, energy and EV equipment, telecom and data infrastructure, and industrial machinery.
Export-ready communication
We support buyers in the United States, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Sweden, Australia, and Singapore.
What helps us quote faster
PDF, DXF, STEP, or SolidWorks files plus quantity, material, finish, critical dimensions, cosmetic notes, hardware/weld callouts, and target delivery.
